Site prep checklist
- · Level concrete pad or piers (we provide footprint drawings)
- · Clear crane access — at least one side of the pad open
- · 240V power supply within 10 m of the pad
- · Water inlet and waste outlet stubbed at the pad
- · Any required council approvals in place
Australian council & permits
Rules vary by state and local council. Because our capsule homes include habitable rooms — a bedroom and bathroom — and are permanently connected to power, water and waste, they are classified as Class 1a (or Class 1b for short-stay accommodation) dwellings under the National Construction Code. Class 10a is reserved for non-habitable structures like sheds and garages and does not apply. Always check with your local council before ordering — we can provide engineering and compliance documentation to support your Development Application.
