Every model in the range — Standard, Balcony and Twin-Link — is treated as a permanent Class 1a dwelling under the National Construction Code, not a caravan, because each pod is craned into place and connected to permanent power, water and sewer. That means a Development Application and building certification, typically 4–12 weeks. Larger configurations like the Twin-Link may also need to check floor-area limits under a council's complying-development or secondary-dwelling pathway. Rules vary by state and council — always confirm with yours before ordering.

Can I register it as a caravan to skip approval?

No. No model in our range is delivered on wheels or built for non-permanent use — every pod is craned onto a fixed pad and connected to permanent services. Registering one as a caravan isn't possible, and installing without approval risks a council removal order and fines.

Is delivery really done in a day?

The one-day crane-set install is accurate per pod. But every model is 4.0 m wide and 2.6 m tall, which is over standard road-transport limits, so delivery requires an oversize-load permit and escorted transport. The Twin-Link ships as two separate pod deliveries joined on site. Council approval must be completed beforehand, so the realistic end-to-end timeline is weeks, not days — regardless of model.
